Form workflow

The process of filling out and approving a form can be set up differently for each form.

Generally, the filling-out process consists of the following steps:

  1. A user signs in to FormFlow.

  2. After signing in, they go to the PROCESSES tab, which displays folders with individual forms. The user looks up the requested form.

  3. The user opens the form and starts filling it out.

  4. The user sends a filled-out form back to FormFlow.

  5. If it is a data collection form, the data is saved and the processing ends here. (If the form was submitted by an anonymous user, an additional approval by a censor may be required at this point.)

  6. If the form is a workflow one, it is forwarded to the next person to process, sign or approve it. The user who receives the form will open it again, make the required changes or actions and submit it to FormFlow again.
There might be several of these steps required until the workflow is completed and the form finally approved.

  7. The approved form is delivered to the final recipient and then finished.

The individual form processing steps are described in more detail in the next chapters of this manual.
