From now on we are able to issue qualified certificates that allow our customers to attach trusted electronic signatures to documents, that is, such signatures that are accepted by public administration in the Czech Republic and other EU countries as an adequate substitute for the user's own written signature.
This is made possible by us becoming an external registration authority for PostSignum, a qualified certification authority, and acquiring the right to issue all certificate types excluding domain ones. Currently we are one of three companies who have this right.
The process of issuing a qualified certificate includes filling out the forms, generation of the required software components and verification of the user's identity – to bind the certificate to a specific person.
We are number one on the Czech market for tools that handle trusted electronic documents. Our products include Signer, an application that provides a complex environment for handling trusted electronic documents in any format and on any device – in PDF, Office and OpenOffice formats on devices with Windows, iOS and Android operating systems. Signer can be used to request a qualified certificate, store it securely, sign, attach time stamps, validate signatures, edit documents, etc.
